DIGITAL LITERACIES AND MY IDENTITIES FAZLI ALTAF ALGHANI - ENGLISH - XI-8 Digital Literacies and My Identities The Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) survey noted that internet user in Indonesia has reached 78.19 percent in 2023 or penetrated 215,626,156 people. But, in the education quality survey issued by Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), Indonesia is ranked 72nd out of 77 countries. Observers believe that teacher competence is low and the education system is too old-fashioned to be the cause. But, based on a survey conducted by PISA released by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2019 said that Indonesia's literacy level in the world is low, ranking 62 out of 70 countries. I believe that the digital technologies will increase Indonesia's education and literacy level if we can use it wisely.
